For our Purim observance this Sunday, families and friends are invited to gather in the Church of the Ascension kitchen at 9 AM to make hamantaschen, the traditional three‑cornered Purim cookies. Then Rabbi Gail Fisher will lead us in a lively, family‑friendly Purim service featuring singing, children’s crafts and a puppet show telling the story of Purim.  We’ll share a light lunch together after the service featuring vegan no-chicken soup, and enjoy the hamantaschen cookies.
