Guest speaker SarahRuth Wekoye Hodgkinson Davis asks us to consider this idea: “Who are our Sponsors, those who nourished us into existence? Gratitude, at its foundation, is to be thankful for life, for our part and place in this life, and to honor our Sources of Life, in each moment of our existence. Using old and new wisdom texts, we will explore Our Sponsors, and how we might be the Sponsors worthy of the Life flowing from us.”

SarahRuth Wekoye Hodgkinson Davis is a Unitarian Universalist chaplain and preacher, from Kenya and America. Her ministry is focused on fostering meaningful relationships within our global community. Wekoye holds degrees in communications, psychology, and business administration and she is completing programs in theology, leadership and spiritual direction. The heart of Wekoye’s work is the kinship ties that bring all of us together, and welcoming everyone to the table to sit together and learn with and from each other.
