
Continuing our Preaching Along the Potomac watch party series, we will visit the Cedar Lane UU Congregation to watch their July 27 service, led by Rev. Abhi Janamanchi. “We reflect on what it means to be a people of many windows, rooted in diverse sources, languages, and practices, yet grounded in a shared light of love and justice. In a time of ecological crisis, rising authoritarianism, and religious nationalism, what does it mean to be Unitarian Universalist now? We’ll explore covenant, spiritual practice, and our call to be both sanctuary and catalyst, nurturing the human spirit and working for collective liberation.”
